In the colonial times, Patriots relied on the founding fathers to strategize the young country’s next steps and then brief the colonists of the progress and decisions. Likewise, Silver State would like to provide our families a clear strategy for the future while continuing to brief our constituency about the progress and improvements throughout the school. Curriculum Enhancements

At Silver State, we believe that we must always be evaluating in order to provide excellence in education. A few years ago, we adopted new math textbooks, and now we are evaluating those resources to insure that a quality curriculum provides excellence as we team with families to provide and excellent Patriot education. The first part of that evaluation process is the development and revision of a scope and sequence.

Technology Education

Technology education and instruction is integral to the future of our children in a global economy. To accomplish that goal, technology education begins in kindergarten. We are thankful for the abilities and resources to continue advancing that program. Besides our technology classes for students, our teachers are learning more about instructional technology so that they can use it in their classrooms.  Now that we have a networked facility and iPad 2s for our students, we are investing in technological resources to improve our technology education and expanding the scope of our technology education.
